Working for Gateway
Gateway recruits locally to ensure members of the community are given opportunities of employment.
The usual method of recruitment is through internal and external means. Advertisements will go out to local job centres and are advertised through the local press and on this website.
Steps will be taken to ensure that knowledge of vacancies reaches under-represented groups. All advertisements for vacancies provide a short statement on equal opportunities.
Selection methods are kept under constant review to ensure that candidates are selected for employment based on their skills and abilities. All those involved in the recruitment and selection process will receive training in equal opportunities, and feedback is provided to candidates on request.
Gateway presently recruits employees in the following areas:
- Health Trainers
- Pregnancy Outreach Workers
- Key Workers
- Tutor Assessors
- Birmingham LINk host
- Administration
- Programme Manager
- Programme Lead
