Benefits, training and placement
The benefits provided for employees include:

Gateway holds a pension scheme with Friends Provident. Employees that have been with the organisation for three months or more can partake in the scheme. Employees can input an employee contribution of 3% of their salary and the employer contribution will match this.
The company is a member of the Birmingham Hospital Saturday Fund (BHSF) which offers an employee assistance helpline.
All employees have access to the service and can use either telephone or face-to-face communication at no charge. Employees can access the following:
- Stress counselling
- Debt counselling
- Bereavement advice
- Medical information
- General legal advice
- Advice on matrimonial or property matters
Training and development
All support workers are employed at the same level when they commence their employment. Throughout their employment they are required to complete mandatory training to increase their skill and abilities to enable them to complete their roles.
They are provided with support and assistance through this process and will receive a nationally recognised qualification on completion of the course.
